About Us |
|
The Newfie Fun Days original group was founded a little over 14 years ago in Eliot, ME when 4 Newfie owners met in Obedience Class. We thought it would be fun to have a picnic and invite other Newfie folks to share in the experiences of owning Newfoundland dogs. From this friendly camaraderie Newfie Fun Days has grown into this popular Event. The folks involved with this Annual Event are dedicated to the Breed and devote their time volunteering to make Newfie Fun Days a Fun, Educational, Informative, and Social Event for both Humans and our Newfs. Members of the Group have experience in rescue, training, nutrition, grooming, proper care, water and carting work. Our mission is to provide education to current Newfoundland owners and potential owners of the Breed, as well as having an event that is fun for the entire family and our Newfs. Any monies that are raised through our Event are donated to the Newfoundland Club of America Newfoundland Health Challenge, Newfoundland Club of New England Rescue Service, the Atlantic Newfoundland Club which is a Canadian group that got its’ start from Newfie Fun Days monies, and The Betty Trott Memorial Fund. |
